In Pursuit Of Home
In vast halls
Claustrophobic rooms
Long meandering corridors.
Within the bricks
The clay
The mortar.
By the flowing water
The stillness of the lakes and fjords
The crashing of the waves.
Home cannot be found.
Does not be stop shifting
Cannot be held
Refuses to be moulded.
Within the cosmos
The silence
The stars
It is not found.
The breath inhaled into me
The breath exhaled into those born of me.
Within this breath, within these heartbeats.
Home.
